Here we are finally at Hannah and Mark’s wedding, listen what happen in a day that I was swept twice by rain, wind and storm.
I met Hannah with his parents a couple of months before the wedding in a warm afternoon on Lake Como in May, we drank coffee together, we talked and we liked eachother.
I found Hannah a shy and happy girl that, with the help of her dad and mom, was realizing her dream, getting married in Italy in the wonderful Villa of Balbianello.
Her parents gave me immediately trust and confidence, I have to say that after that first meeting, I couldn’t wait for the big day !
You may control everything, I always say to my couples, except the weather.
And the weather on July 29th wasn’t very good.
That same morning I went out for a walk with my daughter Camilla and we were hit by a storm that Camilla, I assure you ;), didn’t like at all!
I took the first shower of the day 😉
After lunch I left for the Lake Como and even here the weather didn’t promise anything good.
As expected the rain and the wind swept incessantly the lake … when I arrived to Hannah hotel I saw her watching out from the balcony of the room the dark sky ..
They arrived 10 days before and it was the first and only rainy day of the holiday … Some times the misfortune see just fine …
I saw a great strength in Hannah, but mostly I remember her dad that followed her with his eyes all day.
We all have taken a lot of rain that day, but I didn’t want to be lost even for a moment, or even an expression.
It was her big day and rain or not I wanted to give my best …
Towards evening we had even ten minutes of sunshine, a small gift for Hannah and Mark …
This wedding has excited me as much as it excited me their feedback:
I hope you had a wonderful holiday.
We can not thank you enough for your photography service for our wedding day from beginning to end.
We appreciated That You Took The time to meet us prior to the event and felt That You were very thorough in your organization for the event.
On the day you and your assistant worked so hard and tried to be as helpful as you could in a time of need!
Although the weather made things difficult, the pictures you captured are stunning-we could not be happier with them.
Looking through them is like reliving the day (except it looks much brighter on your pictures!)
The speed of delivery for the photographs was astonishing! We are so grateful to have moments of our day captured so beautifully to show to our friends and family-including Those who could not be there.
We will be Able to show our pictures on a slide show at our evening event in the UK.
Hannah and Mark
They made me feel very proud, even if that July 29th I took the storm twice!
